Star Wars

Sis said my R2D2 was a bit too fat, not tall enough. Humphh... alright.

Herny ordered these for her sons' birthday. Last year they had one with the "war" theme, this year is Star Wars. Hmm... still wars eh :D. This X-wing fighter was my favorite among the other "toys". Does it work if I don't put caption for pictures in this post? ^^

R2D2

Darth Vader. (Not able to make a standing Darth Vader unless its really tiny, else it will topple over. So I made one sitting down.)

The Millennium Falcon. This was also my favorite but I didn't managed to take a good snap of this spacecraft :(
Death Star during the earlier days

The lightsabers

Happy birthday again to the boys! Looking forward to your next birthday!

Raya 2010

I cannot manage to be more creative with my blog post title! :p

Anna ordered this as her Raya giveaways to 7 persons and we thought it will be good to personalize the gifts by including the recipients' names. So here are the 7 customized boxes.

Hope the deliveries went well. :)

The Proposal Troop

Cute cupcakes with your favorite characters, dozens of Ferrero Rocher bouquet, the man on his knees in a fine dining restaurant with a diamond ring... Will you not say "yes!"?

This box was for BO aka Steven (sometimes I use nickname so much that I can forget actual names of my friends :p). BO was planning for his "special event" some weeks back and he already booked this box of special mission cupcakes before my recent trip.

BO wanted Keroro Gunso frogs in the Project Proposal, this was one of the light blue frog (don't ask me, I don't know his name.), which was one who looked like a ninja

There is this tough looking purple frog, who looked quite violence. I thought it's so cute for him to hold his bazooka with the "yes" on it ^^

I actually suggested maybe we have the frogs holding "yes" and "no" so the girl can choose. BO said no "Nos". "No" shall not be an option, haha... So here it is the dark blue frog holding the suggestive "yes!"

Say yes...

The main green frog with the "diamond ring"

The "Tiffany box" which was where the real ring gone into

Ta'daa... The ring is not in there yet. The picture with the ring inside is exclusively with BO

The other gadgets in the box. A pair of wedding couple

A bouquet of flowers

So romantic... Why, of course the answer was "yes!". You might have seen the status change in BO's FB profile.

Congrats!!!

Mission accomplished.

Bursting with Money!

This was the last delivery before my recent trip, it was delivered the night before I left Malaysia.

This cake was for Anna, my other long lost friend, for his son's birthday. Originally she said a cake with all the dollar signs... later after some brainstorming, it was a bag of money, or a treasure chest full of money. Whichever it was, it has to be spilling with money, loads of money. Anna has described his son as "fat chin hon" (Cantonese saying). Haha...

Gold coins made of fondant and mixed with some chocolate with gold wrappers.

Green paper money and coins bursting out of the treasure chest

Some crushed butter biscuit as "sand" around the treasure chest. Gave the pirate movie feel didn't it? :)

This was a chocolate cake with milk chocolate filling. The body of the chest was 3 layers, and the cover was 2 layers of cake. The treasure chest was about 7 x 3 x 7 inches tall.

The cake was supposed to be a surprise and I heard mummy Anna had successfully done that!
Happy birthday Brenden! Many more (money) to come :)

Multi-talented

My favorite among the 5 figurines

This was one of Nicky's order for a birthday celebration in office. He particularly said that he was hoping that this will be another interesting project for me. Surely 5 human figurines on one same cake would have to be my record if not interesting, to put it mildly.
It was about his GM colleague being a multi-talented lady playing the different roles. This was the one of her in her office suit.
In French maid costume - playing the housekeeper role (if not maid :p)
One of her in casual wear, sleeveless top, jeans and slippers.
This was for the bedroom role, in lingerie :)
This was supposed to be another colleague, the sidekick. The mole position was indicated by Nicky.
The birthday greeting that explained it all

Thanks for your order Nicky!
Belated birthday greetings to Tina and Cheryl!
