Made this some time ago during Chinese New Year earlier this year. It was a present to MYFM.

We are currently offering buy 3 boxes and get 1 box free (the box with the lowest value will be free in the event of orders with mixed prices) if you confirm your order with a full payment before 28th January 2013. (Note: since 28th is a public holiday and we are closed on Sunday 27th, kindly place your booking by 26th January 2013)

 

One week advance notice is preferred or otherwise all bookings must be made at least 3 working days before the collection date.

 

Collection of cupcakes that are between 4th February to 8th February will be at our Cakes by TeaRoom pushcart at Tropicana City Mall, 1st Floor above centre court (just in front of Bata). Time will be between 11.00am to 10pm.

16 medium size cupcakes (2.2 inches in diameter) at RM98 per box. Available in 16 large cupcakes (2.5 inches diameter) as well at RM118 per box. Flavour available will be butter, chocolate and coffee walnut.

Ending the CNY celebration mood

Okay, the title of the blog post has nothing to do with the cake design :p. I have so many "back log" due to delay in posting up the cakes and I still have this CNY theme cake that I really must post :). So put the even older cake post on waiting list first :)


This was a cake ordered by Koe Gee as a CNY gift to her parents. So the snake (guy) and cow (lady) represents the zodiac of her mum and dad. The frames were there to mimic the parents glasses.



So here they are, surrounded with mandarin oranges (I still have some at home! Must make juice out of them... anyways.) and gold ingot (non edible).

Koe Gee also wanted a CNY greeting on "red paper" and due to space constraints, I suggested to have just one sentence.

So finally, CNY celebration is over, back to work and this is also the last of TeaRoom's CNY mood for this year. Till then, enjoy your work day and don't stop looking forward to the next long holiday :)

Glaced Cherry Butter Cake

This one was actually a rum and raisin cake, but since this was baked for Chinese New Year after dinner dessert, I'd decided to add some glaced cherries to make it more CNY-looking.

Nothing much to say about this post, I actually just want to build up my cake counter list and also this was the only one where I can show you the inside of the cake since this was for own consumption.
