Coffee (cup) Cake

It was my sis and bil's birthday end of July and early August. Have been having joint birthday celebrations for them for the past few years.

Bil is not a dessert person and only go for certain cake, so coffee cake was usually the choice for his (and sis') birthday cake. This was a coffee cake that was made to look like a cup of coffee.

Fake but edible cookies, made of fondant

With the candles to "cheer up" the cake

Pocoyo cake (smaller version)

 A smaller 6" cake

Anniversary cake

A Red Toolbox

 Totally edible "metallic" red toolbox.

 Sugar hammer

 Edible spanner

 A mini saw

 Measuring tapes and screws

A kitchen Cake

This was one of the most liked picture on FB, maybe because it's cute. :)

This cake reminded me of the "masak masak" toys I used to play when I was a little kid. It's a cake that makes me want to "play" with it a bit. Haha...

 Drawers and built in "oven"

 Preparation table

 The stove area

This was the final look of the cake presentation, with the chef aka birthday boy.

It's a Hermes

Another red handbag, and if you realized, it's for the same lady we made the red Chanel for :)

I like making the shinning surface! Lol

Chanel in red

My first ever novelty cake was a handbag cake and it was a white Chanel handbag cake...

The strap is made with a much different and more detailed way now...

I personally like gold as opposed to silver, I think gold look more real.

Audi car cake

Here is another idea on cakes for the boys

But honestly, car cakes always take me one whole day and it's so exhausting making cars... :p

Macallan Cake

A simple Whisky box cake for the boys

(I know right, it's sometimes so difficult thinking up cake themes for men ;))
