Prepare yourself for CNY

No, no... I don't mean shopping. I mean enough workout so that you can enjoy the feast during Chinese New Year which is just around the corner. :)

Exercise mat

Water bottle and towel

Nike gym top

This was actually made for Kang last year before Christmas but I thought it's good motivation to put it up now just before CNY hehehe...
I think Kang's birthday message up there is also really suitable for CNY :)

Chocolate Sweetheart

Got to know about Hazman's wedding via FB haha... yes, wonderful application that is. And followed up on his order when I met him at the wedding lunch invitation (not his, another one). Instead of the original cupcake inquiry, Man decided on a heart shape cake, and he wanted the moist chocolate cake with milk chocolate icing and non-fondant covered. However, he requested that the cake board doesn't look empty, therefore the cake design was a semi-fondant covered cake, but covered cake board and not covered cake :)

Here's the box for the cake "hantaran"

Man chosen white for the background

With white roses for the cake hence achieving the "black" and white theme

Edible "pearls" and the edible "cloth" on cake

Added some edible disco dust for the glittery effect :)

Delivered this afternoon for tonight's ceremony. I hope you did brilliantly, Hazman!

Flower Box

This was for Farah's hantaran... when she told me black, I was pleasantly surprised. Black I feel is not a very common choice of colour, pairing with pink flowers - I could imagine then already that I would love the result myself! :)

It was the handbags and Amal's cake which were of Farah's liking, so I gave her a sketch of a "quilted" box with flowers "spilling" out from the opening. After a few months (trust me!) of fine tuning the design and details, this was the end result.

The choice of flowers were pinkish hydrangea and dark pink roses. Farah wanted some flowers to be on the board, she thought it will give a more dramatic effect^^

This was a chocolate moist cake with milk chocolate filling. Both "box" and "cover" were made of cakes, and board was fully fondant covered too.
I felt like keeping this cake for myself!

Spongebob Squarepants

This was actually one of my "Christmas deliveries", this cake was delivered together with the other Christmas cupcakes...

This was Kang's order (which reminds me that I have not posted the gym cupcake set yet!) for her nephew who turned one. I was amazed with the fact that the little kid has developed his liking. Or maybe it's just my 1 year old niece who is slow in developing her liking... hmmm...

Here's Spongebob on the cake with the rest of the "Bikini Bottom" (Almost)

Krabby Patty :)
The starfish before he became Patrick, hahaha...

A pair of 2D fishes

Hope you Spongebob fans out there had enjoyed this post ;)

Bwahahahahaaaa....

Happy New Year 2011!

Happy New Year!!!

Almost everyone will comment to say that the year whooshed passed when it comes to end of the year... I guess we can say that again, time flies really. There has been many happenings in year 2010, many things have not been achieved but I have faith and will hang on to the believes...

This year I spent my count down at Lily's new year party. I can't remember the last time I did anything for new year count down actually. So something different to end my year this year, and there was also delicious food where all of us had enjoyed ourselves so much. :)

May 2011 be a great year for all of us!

Christmas 2010

Here's a wrap up on the cupcakes and cakes with the Christmas theme. Isn't this going to be so convenient when customers search for Christmas related post next year before they order? Haha... :)

Above are miniature Christmas tree on medium cupcakes. The tree was made of butter icing, with a biscuit cone in the middle to support the structure. Trees were decorated with edible colour balls (that looks like metal and probably taste like it too, I normally throw them away before eating my cakes :p)

Santa hat

First generation snowman, heh

This was a box my uncle ordered for his office, I can't find picture of the box of mini cupcakes he took... hmmm...

This box was a set of 42 pieces medium cupcakes ordered by my cousin sister's office. The cupcakes sat on a cake board of 18 x 18 inches. I bet the presentation of this was impressive enough!

Wreath on medium cupcakes, which allowed more detailed to be worked on the ribbon compared with the tiny ones on mini cupcakes

Snowman during in a rather heavy snow. Snow was created with snow powder icing, which unlike normal icing sugar (or real snow), will not melt away ^^

TTB as Santa this year, also know as called Santa Bear

"Real" candy

Presents

This was a cheesecake with Christmas theme. The "hut" was built of Loakers wafer biscuit (which of course turned soggy already by the time the cake was cut) and Rocky chocolate coated sticks.

Definitely heavy snow there at the woods!!

Santa is here!! (plastic Santa so that he will not dissolve away in the fridge)

Other mini cupcake sets which were ordered. These were with hollies and the mini wreaths

This was the effect of the mini Christmas tree on mini cupcakes

This set was in blue, Tracy requested blue for her cupcakes...
Nearly forgotten about TTB for Tracy's cupcakes! ;p

This set was with "fake" candy (made of fondant instead because the "real" candy was too big for mini cupcakes!)

Lily ordered 2 cakes for the Christmas parties she were joining. These were with my "second generation" snowman, they looked fatter right? Hehe... and with different fashion.

That's about it for this year, looking forward to next year's Christmas! ;)
