A Madagascar Adventure

This was ordered by June, another Clare's contact for me (thanks for promoting Tearoom!). June originally wanted a cake like the one Clare ordered for Yao Yao's birthday, but after some brainstorming, this was the theme instead.

Daddy and mummy relaxing by the beach watching over little Aden

Little Aden playing with Alex the lion

Melman the giraffe

Skipper the penguin leader

Gloria posing on the cake board

Beach theme on moist chocolate cake

Happy birthday Aden! Hope to be making your 4th birthday cake ;)

A Pororo Birthday

It has been a while since I made a set of Pororo. This was my 3rd request for this cute little penguin and friends.

Cres ordered this for Teresa's 2nd birthday celebration.

Pororo the penguin

Loopy the beaver

Crog the dinosaur

Eddy the red fox (that's what Wiki said, "red" fox though it appears to be orange in colour)

Poby the polar bear

Happy birthday Teresa, looking forward to your 3rd birthday cake ^^

Here is Teresa's 1st birthday cake and cupcake set.

TGIF! Happy Hour!

It's Friday! Let down your hair; loosen your tie and have fun drinking yourself out for the weekend!

Lynsey ordered this for her hubby's birthday. Medium cupcakes with some of her husband's favorite stuff ;)

A can of Guinness stout

Heineken

Kilkenny

Tiger beer - which I find most difficult to draw what represents the can design most (too small to draw a tiger on it)

Here you go, another pig post. Make sure you come back for another post tomorrow (and that will round up my 7 days blog post project haha...)

Mini Black Chanel

Let's take a break from cartoons and have something more adult and elegant for the blog... :)

Here's one ordered by Siew Lee - Chocolate moist cake, semi covered with fondant (the white "cloth") with a mini handbag.

Are my pictures too bright? I was thinking of choosing the darker ones but you might not be able to see the handbag design :p

Back to cartoon tomorrow, stay tuned!

A shining star

Tracy ordered this for her niece. This is actually a chilled chocolate cheese cake covered in fresh cream. I normally don't encourage having fondant figurines on chilled cake because the fondant will "sweat" and "run" after a while due to the moisture from condensation. Only because Tracy can manage a pick up just before party, so we thought it will be okay for her case :)

Design to show a girl with presents and stars around her - she is a star herself in the family!

Happy birthday Mae, saw some pictures and you were looking great with the birthday cake ;p

Farmville on Cupcakes

Does this look familiar to you? I am actually not farming on FB Farmville, but I do have Farm Story in my phone, so this is how my barn looks like which I think is the same with FV. Remember the Angry Bird cupcakes? The same person ordered this for another occasion. This is a piggy which does not look like my usual pig because I was attempting to follow the look of the pig in the game. A bit over sized because I got carried away when making them thinking that they were for medium cupcakes and not mini ones.

Moo moo...

The lamb

I like the crops better actually :)

My favorite - in this delivery and also in the game. I will be farming pumpkins non stop, haha...

Vege

Corn

Pumpkin again :p

Except for the barn which has became "leaning tower of Pisa" I think they quite enjoy having this set. ;)

A VW Pig

Does my blog title sound rude or something? Haha... I didn't mean to be, it's a straight forward description of this post. Heh...

There, the pig who owns a VW Beetle. A fully fondant covered chocolate moist cake with milk chocolate filling.

The Beetle and a beetle (actually ladybird but simply :p)

Are you thinking of buying "empat ekor", 4D number? Haha... that was the birth date of the birthday girl

Car and pig in the garden with a "pond"

Stay tuned for tomorrow's post!

ps. The first TeaRoom store is related to this post ;)

Domo Party for Madalyn

Happy birthday Mei! Okay, I know it's belated since my cousin sis' birthday was 29th March. Not that I forgot her birthday, she got her birthday cake ahead of time, it's just that my blog post is so delayed that the birthday message is belated as of today. As since there was kind of a "complaint" that my blog is very out dated lately - I have to admit - so I better keep up with the posting. SORRY! I have been really busy. Bad excuse but I will make it up to you by having daily, yes DAILY new post for this week. :) Back to the cake... my cousin is a BIG fan of Domo Kun, and she requested for a Domo cake for her birthday (in case I make her sheep/ lamb again, I do that every year since her zodiac is lamb haha...).

This was a butter cake and with piped butter icing to achieve the "fluffy" effect, although I don't think Domo is that fluffy. LOL. There was a little Domo collectibles (handmade fondant "toy") as requested as well because cousin wanted to have this "preserved" and kept.

Here is a picture from my private album - this was what's left with Domo after the cake was served.

And this was the best, I "borrowed" this picture from sis - since the request of a Domo cake, we all decided to throw cousin sis a "Domo party" (no we didn't go in Domo costume!) and got her presents of Domo's. There was Domo pillow, Domo cosmetic case, Domo head rest, Domo casing.... and my sis even wrapped the present up as Domo (above picture). So cute!

Mei, hope you have had a great time and hope you are not sick with Domo yet. Haha... ;)
