Amal's Wedding

Sis has arranged for this cake for Amal's wedding. Met Amal about 2 months ago to show her the sketch of the proposed wedding cake design, at that time the sketch was only with some pink colour decorations...

Amal was such a cool bride, she didn't seem to have any problem with the proposal. Got the sample colours from Amal and there was another colour on her list which was the purple. So I added that colour to see how it looked like.

Anyways, the colour tones and placement were improvised during actual decoration.

The cake was 12 inches tall including the ribbons, could have made the ribbons blossom more but had to be mindful of the height of the available cake box for transportation. There was no on site assembling because the bride has picked up her cake the day before wedding.

Hope the wedding went just like the fairy tale, a story of a happy beginning ^^

Wishing Amal happily ever after...

Managed to take a glimpse of the beautiful cake when both of them are cutting it! Luckily I managed to snap some pics but with her sis camera. I'll get the photo from her later =) Anyway I think the pro photographers most probably has taken some nice photos of the cake.

BTW The chocolate cake was delicious! & I heard some aunties was surprised that all 3 stack of the cake are real cake :))
