
Audrey ordered this cake. I was curious myself at first about how the cake will appear to look like with
TTB and the longevity peaches. One thing about free-hand designs, you just gather
everything customers like and later try to patch
everything up together so that they don't look too out of place :p

TTB with a heart, and the happy birthday message made of chocolate

This was a black forest cake - chocolate sponge filled with dark pitted cherries and fresh cream. My worry was how long the fondant would still manage to look nice on this chilled cake. The delivery was 11am and the cake cutting was only at night that day, one whole day... I tried to make the fondant decorations way in advance hoping that if they were dry and steady, they can survive the moisture better.

Happy birthday to Grandpa!
note to self: must remember to check with Audrey how did the fondant decorations do that night...
